Kilworth House Wedding Venue in Leicestershire

Kilworth House Wedding Venue in Leicestershire

Today, Kilworth House is a country house hotel just to the west of North Kilworth, Leicestershire. This Italianate home was built between 1888 and 1891 for John Entwistle, Leicestershire’s High Sheriff. The Snowdon family purchased Kilworth House in the 1960s, and Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi actually lived there for a while when he was dating a daughter of the Snowdons. 1999 saw the sale of Kilworth House to the current owners, who have converted it into a four star hotel.

The hotel sits at the end of a tree-lined, welcoming path that meanders through the peaceful estate. Broad lawns fan out from the southern-facing facade to point the eye toward distant fields. There are venues at Kilworth House that can accommodate intimate ceremonies as well as functions for more than 100 guests. The Civil Ceremony Licence allows the use of any of the period rooms, and the splendid halls allow for a glamorous reception to celebrate your special day – a place designed perfectly to be captured in your wedding video.
