St. Michael’s Manor has been a property of the Newling Ward family since 1965. The estate features beautifully manicured gardens throughout its five acres and backs up to the Ver River, as well as Verulamium Park. The park runs all the way up to the splendid Abbey and the original house on the property dates back to 1530, which sits on foundations that go back to the 11th century. The present house went up in 1585.

St Michael’s Manor has a number of different backdrops for your wedding and reception. There are two private rooms for functions, an orangery, lounge, terrace and bar in addition to the gardens. St Michael’s has been hosting weddings since 1965, and the grounds are available for special events, wedding ceremonies and receptions Monday through Saturday. The event-staff has experience in tailoring each ceremony to the individual tastes and preferences of the couple, making your day one that you will always remember.
