Channels Golf Club Wedding Venue in Essex

The Cliffords Estate, just north of Chelmsford, is the site of Channels Golf Club, which has hosted weddings for more than 30 years. The clubhouse at Channels has been on the site of the estate since the 14th century, featuring a restaurant and two private dining rooms. The thatched Essex Barn is the primary function suite at the club, dating back to the 17th century. Outside the buildings, there are gorgeous vistas overlooking the entire Essex countryside.

The Essex Barn features exposed beams and brickwork on the inside, giving you a vintage look with the modern touches of white paint and smooth wooden furnishings, blending past and present for wedding ceremonies and receptions. There are enough rooms onsite to accommodate your wedding party overnight, allowing for a full weekend of festivities to toast the new couple. The 20-foot fountain and the tree-lined drive offer some of the more popular photographic opportunities for bridal and wedding party portraits.
